In one, they telephoned Venezuelan president Hugo Ch vez, and spoke to him pretending to be Cuban president Fidel Castro. They later reversed the prank, calling Castro and pretending to be Ch vez. Castro began swearing at the pranksters live on air after they revealed themselves. Caller ID spoofing is the practice of causing the telephone network to display a number on the recipient's Caller ID display that is not that of the actual originating station.
